I have and regularly use GIMP for most of my photo editing. I like it for most things, but I have not figured out how to do batch resizing. I have heard that it can be done using GIMP, but that it is not the ideal tool to do this. Anyone know how to do batch resizing with GIMP or have other suggestions? The only way I would use something else is if it were a free download and it is permanent. I hate free trial downloads; you get used to using it and then the trial ends. Of course, they send you spam until the day you die. Yeah, that's a good deal!
Thanks for any help you can offer - resizing one by one has gotten REALLY old!

I am heart-broken - you mean to tell me there are NO computer nerds around here? Guess I will just take my chances on one of the free ones that pops up when I do a google search.

This batch resizing technique...
This would be something that "blows up" the image and keeps the resolution constant? Would this work on those "little" fairly decent cam phone pics that I find every now and then? If I could resize them suckers, even one at a time the results might be worth the effort. Alas, I know naught of this software or the use thereof...

If you blow anything up, it naturally loses resolution. I would like to be able to do both: increase smaller pics and decrease the large ones. I often find sets where each pic is six or seven MB. To be able to resize the whole set at once would save a ton of time.

I figured out batch resizing, I think I compiled a small program myself a while ago but found a better one on the web. I'll have a hunt around for you Sireal.

Thanks Dev, it would be a huge time saver!
I have searched for free ones and more than a few pop up, but I don't know if one is better than the other.
